I joined Outreach Rescue in 2007 and teach on most courses including rope, water, search and flood. I also cover some industrial work at height courses. I sit on the US NFPA 1670 Committee for Technical Search and Rescue Training. Outside of work I am a team leader for Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation and I did my first rope rescue in 1981, at night in full winter conditions on Tryfan. I am currently the National Training Officer for Mountain Rescue England and Wales.
