About: I have been a Medical and Trauma Assessor for UKRO & WRO since 2010, where I assess on all the various Rescue Disciplines. At present, I work full time as the Trauma Care Co-ordinator for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) and as an Associate Clinical Tutor & Paramedic Responder for East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS). Within my role with the Fire & Rescue Service, I am the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) lead for Casualty Care and as such sit on various national advisory bodies on their behalf, including the UKSAR Medical Advisory Group and the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In my spare time, I am the Medical Officer for LeicSAR and part of the ALSAR Medical training team. I also volunteer for a charity (Humanity First Medical) as part of an International Medical Disaster Response, to natural disasters around the world and am the Chair for a Multi Academy Trust in Leicestershire.
