‘The most recent London Fire Brigade Extrication Team has been established since 2015 with a couple of changes along the way. We are all Operational Firefighters &Officers who share a common interest in RTC & Technical Rescue. UKRO is the perfect platform for us to learn and develop ourselves amongst the same like mind people from around the UK Fire & Rescue Service. It enables us to demonstrate our skills and knowledge in a competitive environment with set rules and guidelines that we can be assessed against. This learning, knowledge and experience is cascaded down and fed back into the organisation. This enhances our operational capability and keeps those travelling on London’s Roads
